Jackery has launched the SolarSaga 40W Mini Solar Panel globally. The company suggests that the product could be helpful for outdoor activities like camping, cycling and hiking, allowing you to charge your gadgets on the go.
The SolarSaga 40W contains four monocrystalline solar cells with a 23% efficiency. According to Jackery, this allows you to fully charge a phone in around 2.5 hours or a tablet in 5 hours. The accompanying multi-functional charging cable with USB-C, USB-A and DC8020 outputs allows you to charge three devices simultaneously. The SolarSaga is rated as IP68 dust and water-resistant and can be attached to your backpack via eyelets and carabiners, enabling you to charge as you move. It is lightweight at 1.2 kg (~2.6 lbs) and measures 102.0 x 30.0 cm (~40.1 x 11.8 inches). Plus, it can be folded to around the size of a Macbook, 25.2 x 30.0 cm (~9.9 x 11.8 inches).
While this is a standalone product, it can also be connected to the Explorer 100 Plus portable power station. You can now buy the Jackery SolarSaga 40W Mini Solar Panel for $129.99/£129.00/CA$129.99/€139.00. Customers in countries like the UK and Germany are offered 14-15% off at Amazon to celebrate the launch, lowering the price to £109.00/€119.00; it is unclear how long these deals will last.
