EcoFlow reveals new PowerHeat and PowerGlow smart solar-powered heating solutions
EcoFlow has revealed two new solar-to-heat solutions for EU customers: the EcoFlow PowerHeat and the EcoFlow PowerGlow. The products will be on show at Solar Solutions Bremen 2024 on 17th-18th April. The company is hosting a series of events here to showcase its range, including its latest additions.
EcoFlow suggests that you can use its new devices alongside its photovoltaic systems to help reduce your energy bills and reliance on energy suppliers. The PowerHeat is an air-to-water heat pump providing heating in your home, while the PowerGlow is a smart immersion heater that uses surplus solar energy to heat water. The two devices can be used together alongside third-party devices like a tado° smart radiator thermostat. As with other EcoFlow products, controls and energy consumption data are available via the EcoFlow app. Features include a Smart mode to intelligently adjust the power for maximum energy efficiency and the ability to set timed heating schedules.
The heating products integrate with EcoFlow’s PowerOcean home battery systems. These include the PowerOcean Three-Phase, a solar PV solution for the home with up to 12 kW three-phase backup power and up to 45 kWh battery capacity. The EcoFlow PowerGlow Smart Immersion Heater will go on sale in May, and the EcoFlow PowerHeat Air-to-Water heat pump will be available in June. However, the prices have yet to be announced.
