A video recently appeared on Streamable showing the first Deadlock gameplay and giving an overview of the playable characters.

Deadlock is the latest game that Steam operator Valve is working on. It is a team-based 6v6 hero shooter that is played from a third-person perspective and features a BioShock-like steampunk look. Last week it was announced that Valve had secretly sent the game into the closed alpha phase. On X the first screenshots have already surfaced.

Now, on Streamable a 1:15 minute long video has surfaced, which has no sound, but still gives a good first insight into the game. It shows a player sliding along a kind of zip line in sandbox mode and shooting at objects in the environment with a pistol.

Fans are also given a brief overview of the characters that can be played in Deadlock - for example the fire hero Infernus, the ice hero Kelvin, the bat character "Ivy" or the sniper "Vindicta". The characters each appear to have four abilities and are each provided with a short description text.

When will Deadlock be released?

Although the game currently appears to be in the alpha phase, it has not yet been announced by Valve. So far there is no indication of a possible release date for the game.
