The Xiaomi Curved Gaming Monitor G34WQi has arrived on the company's global website, suggesting it will soon go on sale in countries around the world. This device is identical to the Redmi G34WQ which launched earlier this year and is similar to the Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34".
The G34WQi is a 34-inch display with an ultrawide QHD 3440x1440 px resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate. The monitor has a 21:9 screen with 1500R curvature, which the company suggests enhances your gaming experience. The display covers 95% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB color gamuts, with a peak brightness of 350 nits. Other features of the gaming monitor include a 1 ms response time and support for AMD FreeSync to reduce screen tearing. At the rear is an RGB ambient light, with an accompanying screen color picker tool, and ports such as two DP1.4, two HDMI 2.0 and audio out. Also included are a low blue light mode and a joystick control.
The monitor has thin bezels on three sides and a stand allowing you to adjust the height and angle of the display; alternatively, you can mount it on a wall. Precisely when the Xiaomi Curved Gaming Monitor G34WQi will launch and at what price has yet to be confirmed. As an indication, the Redmi G34WQ launched at 1,499 yuan (~$210) in China.
