Acer has updated the Predator XB3 series with the XB323QU M3. Already available in some markets, the 1440p and 180 Hz monitor is on track for release globally, likely with a relatively affordable price tag.

The Predator XB323QU M3 is Acer's latest Predator XB3 monitor, having released examples like the XB323K and XB323KRV in the last few years. Like its predecessors, the XB323QU M3 measures 31.5-inches across and relies upon a Fast IPS panel. Additionally, Acer reports that the monitor outputs natively at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and delivers a 180 Hz refresh rate with 1 ms GtG response times backed by AMD FreeSync Premium support.

Moreover, the XB323QU M3 provides 250 nits peak brightness, an 8-bit colour depth and 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. On top of that, Acer has included an adjustable (height/pivot/tilt) stand and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts should you wish to use a third-party stand. Furthermore, the monitor comes with the following I/O:

  • 2x 2 W speakers
  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.2 (1440p/180 Hz)
  • 2x HDMI 2.0 (1440p/144 Hz)

The Predator XB323QU M3 is only available in China so far. However, Acer has listed the same monitor on its US website. Thus, a global release should be on the horizon later this year, although it remains unclear when at this stage. For reference, Acer sells the Predator XB323QU M3 for CNY 1,999 in China, which converts to approximately $279 at current exchange rates.
