AOC has unveiled the CQ27G2X, a 1500R curved gaming monitor that outputs at 1440p and 180 Hz. Already available in multiple markets, the AOC CQ27G2X also has a high contrast ratio and fast response times, among other features.

DisplaySpecifications has discovered that AOC has released yet another 27-inch monitor, which joins the 27B35H in China. However, the CQ27G2X has also arrived in Australia and New Zealand, where it is available for approximately AUD$350 (~$231) and NZD$499 ($307), respectively. By contrast, AOC sells the same monitor in China for just CNY 1,249, which converts to ~$136 at current exchange rates.

While prices differ between regions, specifications remain consistent. Thus, all AOC CQ27G2X monitors feature a 27-inch VA panel with a 1500R curvature. Additionally, the panel offers 8-bit colour depth, plus 92% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB colour space coverages. Moreover, the monitor boasts a 5,000:1 contrast ratio but only 300 nits peak brightness.

On top of that, the AOC CQ27G2X outputs natively at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, which it complements with a 180 Hz refresh rate and 4 ms GtG response times, or 1 ms when measuring using MPRT. Also, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium to mitigate image tearing and AOC's Low Input Lag mode. Furthermore, AOC has included an adjustable stand (height/swivel/tilt), along with DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 video inputs. Unfortunately, release details for other markets remain unknown for now.
