ViewSonic 1440p 27-inch OLED gaming monitor released to pre-order via Amazon
As the name suggests, the XG272-2K-OLED is a monitor from ViewSonic touted to bring "exceptionally vivid colors and stark contrasts" to 1440p gaming. It also outdoes other AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible 27-inch panels with the additional emerging Blur Busters Verified buzz-word, touted to ensure sharp, detailed image reproduction that minimizes issues such as ghosting and tearing at all times.
From a more practical standpoint, the XG272-2K-OLED boasts a "pixel response time" of as little as 0.01 milliseconds (ms) and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. On that note, the new gaming monitor shows itself as a ViewSonic nonetheless with quality-of-life features such as a powered (15W) USB-C port (and "various USB-A and USB-B ports") alongside HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 support.
The XG272 also very nearly looks just like any other ViewSonic-branded monitor in black from the front - even though its rear panel is given over to curving plastic finished in "radiant white" that houses ambient LED lighting.
The veritably stealthy gaming monitor had been released to viewsonic.com/us on its launch - although it is now out of stock there. Never fear, it has also just made its way to Amazon with a release date of April 8, 2024. However, it can be pre-ordered from now for its original RRP of $899.99.
