Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2 pricing revealed to undercut many 4K and 240 Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor competitors
Gigabyte has now revealed US pricing for the AORUS FO32U2, one of three upcoming QD-OLED gaming monitors produced by the company. To recap, the AORUS FO32U2 relies upon a Gen 3 QD-OLED panel with a 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution. Additionally, the gaming monitor offers a 240 Hz refresh rate coupled with 0.03 ms GtG response times and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to minimise image tearing.
Moreover, the AORUS FO32U2 is VESA ClearMR 13000 certified, which remains VESA's highest ClearMR tier. On top of that, the monitor should reach 400 nits when viewing HDR content (VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400), which drops to 250 nits for SDR content. Furthermore, the 10-bit colour panel is said to provide 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. On top of that, Gigabyte includes six video inputs, four USB ports and dedicated headphone/microphone jacks.
Gigabyte has priced the AORUS FO32U2 at $1,099.99 in the US. As a result, the monitor is $100 cheaper than the Alienware AW3225QF and Gigabyte's AORUS FO32U2P. However, the MSI's MPG 321URX QD-OLED remains the cheapest way to obtain a 4K and 240 Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor at $949. Likewise, the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM is the most expensive, thanks to its $1,299 launch pricing. Currently, it remains unclear when Gigabyte will start selling the AORUS FO32U2 beyond a vague commitment to a Q1 2024 release. Please see our original AORUS FO32U2 article for more details.
