MSI MAG 27CQ6F gaming monitor debuts with 2.5K 180 Hz curved panel
The MSI MAG 27CQ6F has been officially announced. It’s a 27-inch gaming monitor that features a “Rapid VA” panel. To be specific, the VA panel features a 0.5 ms GtG response time. Combined with the 180 Hz refresh rate, this fast response rate makes the display deliver “a competitive edge” in fast-paced games.
To smoothen the gameplay even further, the MAG 27CQ6F features Adaptive Sync. Similar to Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, this display tech syncs the refresh rate with the GPU to eliminate stuttering and tearing. As a result, you get a smooth gaming experience.
As for the resolution, the VA panel of the MAG 27CQ6F has support for up to 2560 x 1440 pixels. Besides, MSI has integrated Anti-Flicker technology, which aims to offer a comfortable viewing experience by lowering the flicker rate. It also comes with TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light output.
In addition, the MSI MAG 27CQ6F sports a wide color gamut, with the sRGB coverage at 105%. The monitor also has some gaming features, such as Smart Crosshair and Optix Scope for aim assistance and AI Vision for better visuals in dark areas.
Other highlights of the gaming monitor include one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0b ports, a 1500R curvature, and a dedicated console mode for console gamers.
