Acer has announced the Predator X27U F3 gaming monitor. It sports a 26.5-inch OLED screen that features a refresh rate of 480 Hz and aims to deliver ultra-smooth gameplay. The advertised pixel response time of the panel is also great, at 0.01 ms. Besides that, the panel has a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, which makes it capable of offering pixel-dense visuals.
But those aren’t the only highlights of the Acer Predator X27U F3. The gaming monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync. That means it doesn’t matter whether you have an AMD or Nvidia GPU. The panel promises a color-accurate viewing experience with 99% DCI-P3 color coverage.
The overall design is geared towards a comfortable viewing experience. There are tilt and swivel adjustments, allowing you to get a proper angle on the screen. As for the I/O ports, the Predator X27U F3 comes with 2 HDMI 2.1, one DisplaPort 1.4, and one USB-C. Acer says that this versatile port selection makes the monitor compatible with both PC and console (PS5 Slim curr. $449 on Amazon).
When it comes to the price, the Predator X27U F3 is on the expensive end, coming in at $1,199.99 for the North American market and €1,199 for the EMEA regions. The gaming monitor is expected to be available in Q3.
