GameSir launches new Xbox-licensed Kaleid gaming controllers with customization options and Hall Effect joysticks
GameSir Kaleid and Kaleid Flux are two new gaming controllers from the peripheral brand. While they are Xbox-licensed, they have multi-platform compatibility, which means they will work with Windows too. Worth noting that the the company released a controller named Kaleid before. Besides the Xbox licensing, these two have different features and designs than the one released before.
Speaking of which, both the wired gaming controllers come with a translucent body, which lets the built-in LED shine through. This allowed GameSir to offer light customization. But that's not the only customization feature of the new Kaleid controllers. They also allow you to customize the buttons to tune them to your play style.
Both the new Kaleid wired controllers have proper haptics, with GameSir claiming that the four motors inside can deliver "strong and subtle vibrations as needed." Another highlight is the Hall Effect triggers, which are designed to offer precise and consistent output.
When it comes to the difference between the two, the Flux is a little cheaper, coming in at $46.99, while the non-Flux Kaleid gaming controller costs $49.99. Besides that, the latter sports microswitch ABXY buttons, while the former has membrane buttons. While the membrane does offer a cushioned experience, it's known for wearing out quickly. So, if durability is a concern, you will be better off with the non-Flux option.
