CRKD has announced the Neo S Linkin Park 5-Fret Fortnite Festival Edition wireless gaming controller globally. CRKD’s new wireless gaming controller features artwork inspired by the Linkin Park instruments in the Fortnite festival. Designed to use with Fortnite Festival and other rhythm-based games, the gadget follows the recently announced CRKD Gibson Les Paul guitar controllers.
According to the CRKD, the Neo S is equipped with Hall effect thumbsticks, which are said to be drift-proof. Plus, it also comes with integrated motion controls and adjustable triggers. Design-wise, the controller features the general shape of a classic NES gamepad with rounded edges, which is designed to fit in the palm of your hand. Speaking of layout, it is basically the same as an Xbox controller, meaning you won’t get thumbsticks at the same height.
Furthermore, there are five action buttons at the bottom of the controller, and according to the company, these buttons replicate the frets on a guitar. Additionally, you can pretty much customize all elements of the controller, such as button remapping and adjusting trigger vibration and sensitivity via the CRKD companion app. Moreover, the gaming controller is compatible with everything from Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile to tablets and smart TVs. You can connect the Neo S wirelessly via Bluetooth. Alternatively, a cable connection is also possible.
Currently, the CRKD Neo S Linkin Park 5-Fret Fortnite Festival Edition wireless gaming controller is available for pre-order via CRKD’s official website for $59.99/€69.99/£59.99. As far as availability is concerned, it’s expected to ship in May of this year.
