Deal | Steam Open World Survival Crafting Fest sharply discounts genre favourite games until June 3

Steam's various fests throughout the year often feature some of gaming's best bargains and discounts, and the recently announced Open World Survival Crafting Fest is no exception.

Steam dropped a trailer for the event over on its YouTube channel (video embedded below) highlighting a handful of the games on sale during the Open World Survival Crafting Fest, but there are plenty that didn't make the trailer that are worth looking at for fans of open-world games or the survival and crafting genres.

For starters, popular survival ARPG base-builder hit, Tribes of Midgard, is 70% off — just $5.99 — during the Open World Survival Crafting Fest, while the instant classic Valheim is 50% off, coming in at just $9.99. Rust also makes an appearance at $19.99, down 50% from its normal price. 

Steam is also highlighting some interesting demos during the event. Voidtrain, for example, is a 2023 adventure survival game that sees players board an interdimensional train and fight all manner of strange monsters in an attempt to explore and survive.

All of the games mentioned above run very well, even on handheld devices, like the Lenovo Legion Go (curr. $629.99 from Lenovo US) and Asus ROG Ally ($599.99 from Best Buy).
