Intel Arc Graphics Driver 31.0.101.5379 update promises up to a 174% performance improvement in select DX11 titles
Last month, Intel rolled out a driver update (version 31.0.101.5333) for its Arc graphics cards. Among other things, it promised an FPS increase in popular titles such as Far Cry 5, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Palworld and more. The chipmaker has now rolled out a new version titled Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.5379.
This time, it has a handful of improvements for Intel Arc iGPUs found on Meteor Lake-based Core Ultra SKUs. It should help handhelds like the MSI Claw and Onexplayer X1 catch up with their AMD-powered competitors. It also boosts the performance of existing SKUs, such as the Arc A770 (8 GB and 16 GB), Arc A750, Arc A580 and their mobile counterparts. Some of the games that benefit from the update are as follows
- Assassin’s Creed Origins (Up to 35%)
- Detroit: Become Human (Up to 172%)
- Fortnite (Up to 6%)
- God of War (Up to 36%)
- Granblue Fantasy: Relink (up to 174%)
The Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.5379 update adds optimizations for newly launched titles like Dragon's Dogma 2 and Horizon Forbidden West. Diablo IV players can now switch on raytracing on their Intel Arc graphics cards. The update comes in at a colossal 770.2 MB and can be downloaded directly from Intel's website. Do note that the drivers haven't received a WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Lab) signature yet.
