In addition to providing full support to no less than seven new games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver package labeled 566.03 is also adding no less than 32 G-Sync Compatible displays to the list, as well as a trio of Optimal Playable Settings profiles.

Yesterday, Nvidia issued a new driver update for its GeForce lineup of products, and, unlike some of its predecessors, version 566.03 means business. In the past, it was no surprise to see the new GeForce Game Ready Driver software packages to come with just optimizations for two or three games and, maybe, to add a few G-Sync Compatible displays and settings presets to the existing ones. Now, we are talking about no less than seven games, 32 displays, and three game profiles.

Without further ado, these are the seven games that need to be mentioned, their launch dates, and the optimizations received by each:

  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard; October 31st; DLSS 3, Reflex & Ray Tracing.
  • Alan Wake 2: The Lake House; available since yesterday; Full Ray Tracing & DLSS 3.5 With Ray Reconstruction.
  • Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered; October 31st; DLSS 3, DLAA & Reflex.
  • Red Dead Redemption; October 29th; DLSS 3 & Reflex.
  • This Axis Unseen; available since yesterday; DLSS 3 & Reflex.
  • No More Room In Hell 2; in Early Access since yesterday; DLSS 3, DLAA & Reflex.
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6; October 25th; no details mentioned yet.

In addition to the above, we should also highlight the three titles that receive one-click optimal settings presets. These titles are: Silent Hill 2, NBA 2K5, and Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. The generous list of 32 displays that join the G-Sync Compatible crowd includes models from Samsung, Philips, Panasonic, LG, Dell, Funai, and I-O Data.

As usual, the new driver can be downloaded using the GeForce Experience and Nvidia apps, or directly from Nvidia's website. The Asus Dual GeForce RTX 4070 Super EVO OC Edition 12GB GDDR6X is currently available on Amazon for $599.99, with free delivery and free returns included, so those looking for an upgrade might want to give it a try.
