Delta Force and Path of Exile 2 receive optimizations in the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver package
Nvidia's latest video driver update has recently arrived with three areas of coverage: day-one optimizations, support for upcoming updates to existing titles, and new one-click optimized settings. Additionally, the GeForce Game Ready Driver software package with the version label reading 566.36 also irons out the game crashes that occurred during gameplay on systems loaded with version 565.xx drivers in Forza Horizon 5 and God of War Ragnarok.
The list of barely released and upcoming games and game updates that receive day-one optimizations from Nvidia thanks to this update consists of the following:
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (launching December 9th)
- Marvel Rivals (released yesterday)
- Forza Motorsport's Global Illumination update (coming December 9th)
- Path of Exile 2 (in Early Access since yesterday)
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Patch 5.0 (scheduled to arrive later this month)
- Delta Force (in Open Beta stage since December 5th)
The three titles that get one-click optimized settings presets are Farming Simulator 25, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. As usual, the update can be downloaded and applied via the Nvidia app directly or separately from GeForce.com and then installed.
Gamers who want to know more about the real-life Delta Force might want to grab Delta Force: A Memoir by the Founder of the U.S. Military's Most Secretive Special-Operations Unit off Amazon. This book is available in the Kindle, audiobook, hardcover, and paperback formats, starting at $9.19 (or free with an existing Audible membership or trial).
