Yesterday, Nvidia released a new driver package for a wide range of compatible GeForce GPUs. Earlier this week, a new beta for the Nvidia app also arrived. While the GeForce Game Ready 555.99 package does not update the PhysX System Software and HD Audio Driver components, there is enough to make it worth downloading since it includes support for three new games, new one-click optimal settings, and even adds a few new items to the list of G-Sync Compatible displays.
Pax Dei, scheduled to launch as an Early Access title on June 18th, receives DLSS 3 and Reflex support. On the same day, Still Wakes The Deep will debut as well. In this case, the 555.99 driver provides DLSS 3, DLAA, and Reflex. Last but not the least, Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion gets general optimizations, without anything new being mentioned. This title will arrive on June 21st.
The eight displays that join the list of G-Sync Compatible pieces of hardware come from Asus (three), Lenovo and LG (a pair each), as well as one from Philips. The game trio that received one-click optimal settings consists of Abiotic Factor, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, and XDefiant.
In addition to all the above, it should also be mentioned that the Nvidia app now sports 120 FPS AV1 video capture, an improved overlay, as well as one-click automatic GPU tuning. Those interested can also claim 3 months of free PC Game Pass access, as long as they have an Nvidia account (or create a new one). All the details are available on this page.
Those looking for a new video card might find the Asus ProArt GeForce RTX 4070 OC Edition attractive thanks to the 15% discount that takes it from $679.99 to $579.99 on Amazon.
