Those who follow the Elden Ring Nightreign Steam page certainly noticed a change worthy of everyone's attention this week. Although the technical details are still sketchy, the game received a release date: May 30th. Additionally, we now know that the game will use kernel-level anti-cheat. Easy Anti-Cheat is mentioned alongside the fact that it will require manual removal after uninstalling the game. Steam Deck compatibility is uncertain at this time, and the same can be said about the system requirements.
Leaving Steam behind, we should also mention that PlayStation.Blog reports that this standalone spinoff, which allows players to return to the Elden Ring universe in a co-op multiplayer PvE formula, will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. A public test should go live starting today as well. Obviously, pre-orders are already live since a network test is already unfolding, and those interested can grab the game via Steam, PlayStation Store, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Game Store.
The price of Elden Ring Nightreign has been set to $39.99 (39.99 euros in Europe). Steam also lists a Deluxe Edition for $54.99 (or 54.99 euros, of course). The Bandai Namco Store is also offering a Collector's Edition, with a price tag of 199.99 euros and a few other goodies, but the store will fire up pre-orders in April. However, interested parties can register to receive notifications as soon as the store launches pre-orders.
