FromSoftware has confirmed that the PC system requirements for Elden Ring: Nightreign align almost exactly with those of the original Elden Ring. Aside from a modest CPU upgrade, the demands remain accessible. As the frame rate is capped at 60 FPS, you can expect a smooth performance on mid-range graphics cards.
Here’s what the PC system requirements look like -
- Minimum (Windows 10): Intel Core i5-10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 | 12 GB RAM | Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4 GB
- Recommended (Windows 11): Intel Core i5-11500 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600 | 16 GB RAM | Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8 GB
- General: 30 GB storage | DirectX 12 (feature level 12.0) | Windows-compatible audio device
As you can see, no Nvidia RTX cards appear in the list of recommended specifications, which highlights Nightreign’s moderate GPU requirements.
In other words, rigs built for Elden Ring or Shadow of the Erdtree will handle Nightreign without issue. Plus, the 30 GB download footprint is a welcome reduction from many modern AAA titles.
As reported previously, Elden Ring: Nightreign is scheduled to launch globally on May 30th on PC and consoles. Plus, pre-loads for the same will be available 48 hours before the release.
