Portal 2 picks up where its predecessor left off, putting players in control of Chell. After a long stasis, the silent protagonist awakens in the Aperture Science labs, where the sinister AI GLaDOS once again subjects her to deadly test chambers. This time, however, she has the unpredictable robot Wheatley by her side as they attempt to escape once and for all.
Chell's only tool for escaping Aperture Science’s test chambers is the Portal Gun, which lets her create two linked portals to bypass obstacles, solve puzzles and evade GLaDOS's watchful eye. The game revolves around physics-based challenges rather than traditional enemies, though lethal test chambers, laser barriers and tracking turrets keep the danger high. Adding to the experience, Portal 2 is packed with dark humor.
