Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver 537.42 brings DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction to Cyberpunk 2077
Labeled 537.42 and released yesterday alongside Cyberpunk 2077's update 2.0, the latest GeForce Game Ready software package from Nvidia introduces DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction, as well as full support for three games. Unfortunately, there are no new GeForce Experience optimal presets or G-Sync displays involved this time.
According to Nvidia, the main highlight of this update is the Ray Reconstruction technology provided via DLSS 3.5, which can be fully enjoyed in Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. This technology, claim its creators, "improves the quality and clarity of reflections, global illumination is even more accurate, and lighting is more dynamically responsive, for an even better, more immersive, more realistic experience."
The three games which launch get DLSS support thanks to this new GeForce Game Ready package are Party Animals, Witchfire, and Warhaven. The first one launches comes with DLSS 2 support, while the others arrive with DLSS 3 optimizations. Unsurprisingly, they also get Nvidia Reflex support.
Nvidia's Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty performance figures are impressive, with 4.9X faster average framerate at 4K with everything maxed out, when comparing DLSS 3.5-driven rendering while taking full advantage of Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, Reflex, and Super Resolution with native 4K rendering. Obviously, the GPUs used belong to the RTX 4000 lineup.
As usual, the new driver can be downloaded via the GeForce Experience software companion or from the official GeForce drivers webpage.
