Xiaomi has launched the Curved Gaming Monitor 30" in the UK and Spain. The screen initially went on sale in China last year as the Redmi Curved Monitor 30". The 21:9 display has a 2,560 x 1,080 px WFHD resolution with a 200Hz refresh rate. Plus, the device covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut, providing over 16.7 million colors.
The Curved Gaming Monitor 30" has 300 nits peak brightness and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio for natural shadows and clarity in darker images. Xiaomi suggests that the screen's 1800R curvature provides a more immersive experience and describes the bezels as ultra-narrow. The device has a 4 ms response time and supports AMD FreeSync Premium for reduced screen tearing when gaming. Other features include Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, DC dimming technology to minimize screen flicker and a Low Blue Light mode, certified by TUV Rheinland, to filter short-wave blue light.
Ports on the device include DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1, HDMI 1.4 and an audio jack. You can now buy the Xiaomi Curved Gaming Monitor 30" in the UK for the discounted price of £239.99, 10% off the £299.00 RRP. In Spain, the product retails for €249.99, with a €10 coupon currently reducing the cost to €239.99. It is unclear when the display could launch in other EU countries.
