AOC AGON CG27G2S/BK released as new curved gaming monitor with 165 Hz refresh rate for under £250
AOC has announced the AGON CG27G2S/BK, a 27-inch gaming monitor based around a VA panel. According to AOC, the AGON CG27G2S/BK has a 1500R curvature, as well as an antiglare finish to reduce reflections when gaming. To that end, the monitor has a 165 Hz refresh rate and 4 ms GtG response times, or 1 ms MPRT, plus Adaptive Sync support.
Additionally, the AGON CG27G2S/BK has a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel native resolution, which corresponds to a 109 PPI pixel density and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, AOC states the monitor has a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 90% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and 250 nits peak brightness. Also, the AGON CG27G2S/BK boasts Flicker-Free technology and a Low Blue Light mode to mitigate eye strain.
Furthermore, AOC has equipped the AGON CG27G2S/BK with a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection and a 3.5 mm jack but no speakers. On top of that, the monitor has an adjustable stand that can be tilted, swivelled or its height changed by up to 130 mm.
