Acer Nitro XZ320QK P3: New curved gaming monitor starts at US$499.99 with 4K resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate
Acer has unleashed the Nitro XZ320QK P3, a new gaming monitor based around a VA panel. Contrary to what its name may suggest, the Nitro XZ320QK P3 actually measures 31.5-inches across. According to Acer, the monitor operates natively at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, which correlates to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Additionally, the Nitro XZ320QK P3 has a 1500R curvature, and ships with an adjustable stand for maximising ergonomics. Moreover, Acer has included DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports to ensure compatibility with modern systems, whether those are game consoles or PCs. For reference, the monitor features twin 2 W stereo speakers too, plus a 3.5 mm jack for connecting external audio equipment.
Meanwhile, the panel itself peaks at 300 nits and covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space. Furthermore, the Nitro XZ320QK P3 has a 165 Hz peak refresh rate and delivers 2 ms GtG response times. Also, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium to minimise image tearing. Currently, Acer charges US$499.99 for the Nitro XZ320QK P3 in the US. However, the company has not confirmed pricing or availability for other regions yet, such as the UK or Europe. Please see the manufacturer's website for more details.
