Officially unleashed yesterday with a Kickstarter campaign that met its funding goal in a few hours (and is already at US$36,222, way up from the US$5,029 target), the Dynamic Scooter Model B is a compact foldable e-scooter that promises to deliver "the perfect commuting solution for your urban life" without breaking the bank.
The essentials of this e-scooter include a top speed of 15 mph (25 kmh), 12 miles (20 km) maximum range, a dual-brake system (electronic and pedal), a three-second fast folding design, DC charging interface, zero start and non-zero start modes, IP54-rated waterproofing, a high-definition LED screen, as well as a large LED headlight.
In addition to the above, it should also be highlighted that the Model B features a detachable lithium battery with short circuit, overcurrent, overcharging, over-discharging, temperature, and low voltage auto-sleep protection.
This e-scooter can handle payloads of up to 220 pounds (100 kg) and can tackle slopes up to 10 degrees. Its buyers have three color choices at their disposal, namely black, silver, and pink.
The MSRP is US$450, but those interested in a good deal can go to Kickstarter to grab one of the 48 units remaining for an early bird price of US$249 (45% discount). Shipments are scheduled to start in December.
