LeMond Bicycles has launched the All-Road Prolog e-bike in the US, the UK and the EU. Three-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond has designed the new model. The electric bicycle has a Mahle M1 250W rear-mounted motor with 40Nm torque, assisting you at speeds up to 20 mph (~32 kph).
The All-Road Prolog has a 36V 250W Panasonic battery in the down tube, providing up to 70 miles (~113 km) assistance range. Other features include a Shimano GRX RD-RX812 rear derailleur, Shimano GRX RD-RX812 hydraulic disc brakes and Panaracer 43mm all-terrain tires. You can use the built-in iWoc 1 by Mahle interface to toggle assistance, headlights and rear lights. Plus, you can view journey insights in the Mahle My SmartBike app, available for iOS and Android devices. There are a couple of optional upgrades, including Shimano GRX Di2 electronic shifting and accompanying display.
The model has a carbon fibre frame with a slightly flared drop handlebar for improved stability, with the bike weighing 28.0 lbs (~12.7 kg) on average. You can now buy the LeMond All-Road Prolog with prices starting at US$5,995.00/£4,993.00/€5,759.95. The model is available in small, medium and large sizes, suiting riders from 5 ft 0-in to 6ft 6-in (158 cm to 198 cm), and three colors: Matte Blanc, Matte Noir and Matte Rosa.
