The Cannondale Mavaro Neo SL e-bike range is now on sale in Europe. A total of six models are on offer with Mavaro Neo SL 1 and Mavaro Neo SL 2 variants, Standard, StepThru and Low StepThru frames. Compared to the older Mavaro Neo, the SL is sleeker and more powerful. All new versions have a 350W Bafang G020 Hub motor with up to 45 Nm torque and a top assistance speed of 16 mph (~25 kph).
You can toggle between three assistance modes and a walk mode on the Kingmeter YKPP01 display mounted on the handlebar. The Mavaro Neo SL 1 has an eight-speed microSHIFT Acolyte rear derailleur, while the SL 2 is a seven-speed e-bike with a microSHIFT RD-M26L derailleur. All variants have a 360Wh battery from Darfon, providing a range of up to 67 miles (~108 km). Other features include an SR Suntour NEX suspension fork with 50 mm travel, Tektro HD-275 hydraulic disc brakes and a Darfon Cadence Sensor 73-122MM.
Plus, the Standard and StepThru models have Schwalbe Big Ben 700x50C tires, while the Low StepThru bikes have Schwalbe Big Ben Plus Perf SS GG 27.5 x 2" tires. You can now buy the Cannondale Mavaro Neo SL 1 and SL 2 e-bikes for £2,400/€2,499 and £2,200/€2,299, respectively. It is unclear when the new models could arrive in other markets, such as the US.
