Xiaomi has officially launched the Electric Scooter 4 Go, unveiling the vehicle on a product page on its global website. The product first appeared in an EU Declaration of Conformity and was subsequently listed on the websites of Poland-based Batna24.com and eMAG Hungary.
The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Go’s product page confirms some of the earlier leaked details of the scooter. For example, the model has a top speed of 20 kph (~12 mph), and a 165Wh lithium battery allows you to travel up to 18 km (~11 miles). A notable difference between the specifications is the motor, with Xiaomi confirming that the scooter’s engine has a peak power of 450W. The motor comes with three power modes and allows you to tackle inclines of up to 10%. The Go has a dual braking system, including an E-ABS brake at the front and 8.1-in radial hollow tires.
You can view information about your journey, such as your speed and remaining power, on the built-in dashboard or via the Xiaomi app. Plus, an intelligent Battery Management System protects against issues like short circuits and overheating. It remains unclear how much Xiaomi will charge for the e-scooter and when it will be available to purchase directly from the company in the EU. For context, the two retailers noted above list the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Go for 170,900 HUF (~€458) and 1,549 PLN (~€348).
