The Decathlon Elops 500 long-distance city bike is discounted in various EU countries. In France, the Charcoal Grey stepover and Sepia step-through models are reduced by €100 from €1,499 to €1,399. The same offer is available in Italy; however, the Linen stepover and Sepia and Verdigris stepthrough bikes are included in the deal.
Customers in Spain can get the best discount, available solely on the Sepia step-through model, reducing the price by 10% or €150 from €1,499.99 to €1,349.99. The Elops 500, also known as the Elops LD500E, launched last year. The model has a 250W motor with 45Nm torque, with a torque and cadence sensor for natural feeling assistance. A 504Wh battery provides up to 115 km (~71 miles) of assistance range, fully recharging in around seven hours.
An LCD dashboard shows information like your speed and battery charge level. You can also use the display to switch between four assistance modes, and an integrated USB port allows you to charge your phone as you ride. Other features include a BTWIN by MICROSHIFT RD M25 rear derailleur, TEKTRO TKD32 hydraulic disc brakes, AXA BLUELINE Lights and a luggage rack.
