Half-Life-themed GeForce RTX 4080 Super up for grabs via Nvidia's latest giveaway
Nvidia is giving away yet another custom graphics card. This time, it commemorates 20th anniversary of Half-Life 2 (November 16). One lucky winner gets a Half-Life-themed GeForce RTX 4080 Super graphics card, complete with Gordon Freeman, a Lambda symbol and an orange fan. Nvidia didn't say if any Anomalous Materials were used in its constructions, so plugging it into your PC could result in Unforeseen Consequences.
To enter, simply leave a like and comment "#HalfLife2RTX" on Nvidia's X post. Weirdly, Nvidia hasn't posted any terms and conditions for this giveaway, so there's no way to confirm eligible regions and the likes. Unless stated otherwise, one can safely assume the giveaway is global and open to legal adults worldwide.
Ironically, you can play pretty much every Half-Life game ever made (Black Mesa/Hunt Down The Freeman don't count) on any iGPUs launched in the past year or so. While the fan-made Half-Life 2 RTX finally has a dedicated Steam page, it is still some time away from launch. The worst part is, this GeForce RTX 4080 Super will probably be obsolete by the time Half-Life 3 drops, but such is life.
