Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown PC system requirements revealed ahead of January 18 launch

Ubisoft has released an in-depth post detailing how Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will run on current and last-gen consoles. It also talks about the PC system requirements, and unlike many recent AAA games, they're relatively light. It isn't surprising, given the game was in development limbo for decades before finally being confirmed for a January 18 release.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown can be played at 4K 120 FPS on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. On the Xbox Series S, it gets lowered to 1440p 60 FPS. Last-gen consoles such as the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X can run it at 4K 60 FPS, while the vanilla PS4, Xbox One S and Xbox One are restricted to 1080p 60 FPS. Lastly, the Nintendo Switch can run Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown at 1080p 60 FPS in docked mode and 720p 60 FPS in handheld mode.

PC players will be pleased to know they can run Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on aged hardware. The game demands an Intel Core i5-4460/AMD Ryzen 3 1300 CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 950, 8 GB RAM, and 30 GB of hard drive space. This configuration will let you play the game at 1080p 60 FPS with medium settings. The 4K "Ultra and 1440p "Recommended" specs are nearly identical, for some reason and are likely erroneous. Nonetheless, it should run fine on any PC built in the last 4-5 years and even handhelds like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally ($769 on Amazon).
