Save up to $600 off Dell or Alienware gaming laptops at Amazon

Alienware is known for making well-built and high-end gaming laptops, but the machines typically cost a pretty penny. However, Amazon is running a deal on Alienware laptops (and a Dell gaming laptop) that shaves up to 23% off various models. 

 Perhaps the most enticing is the Alienware X16 R1, which is discounted 20% down to $2399.97. This is $600 lower than the laptop's MSRP of $2999.97. The X16 R1 sports an Intel Core i9-13900HK, 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080. The screen is a 16-inch QHD+ (2560x1600) panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate, which takes advantage of the high framerates pumped out by the RTX 4080. In our review, we highlighted the good low-profile mechanical keyboard and solid performance. However, we pointed out that the power adapter is necessary when using the machine away from home as the X16 R1's battery life is very short, managing only 2.5 hours in our WiFi battery test. 

On the other end of the budget spectrum is Dell's G15 5535 laptop, which is discounted 15% to $849.97. The G15 5535 has an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. The display is a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920x1080) screen with a 165 Hz refresh rate, something that's not always found at this price point. The G15 5535 is fairly thick for a laptop, but it covers all the basics and has good specs for the price.
