Details of another forthcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon X series laptop have leaked online. This time, it is Dell with the Inspiron 14 Plus, which combines the Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100) with 16 GB of RAM.

The number of laptops that will soon be available with Qualcomm Snapdragon X series chipset is piling up. On the one hand, separate Geekbench listings have detailed what appear to be consumer versions of the Surface Laptop 6 and Surface Pro 10 sporting Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100) and Snapdragon X Plus (X1P-64-100) chipsets, respectively. For reference, Microsoft has already released 'for Business' models of both devices, albeit with Intel Meteor Lake processors.

Based on earlier leaks, consumer versions of the Surface Laptop 6 and Surface Pro 10 will ship with more distinguishing features from their 'for Business' counterparts than a mere chipset change. On the other hand, official-looking images of the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and Yoga Slim 7 Snapdragon Edition models have surfaced online, full details of which we have covered via the appropriate hyperlinks. Now, an early sighting of the Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 has landed on Geekbench, evidence of which we have embedded below.

According to these listings, Dell has equipped the Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 with the Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100), just like Microsoft has with the Surface Laptop 6. Likewise, the Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 contains 16 GB of RAM, reinforcing earlier suggestions that this will be a minimum requirement for Snapdragon X-powered laptops. Surprisingly, the Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100) achieves far lower single-threaded and multi-threaded results than previous Geekbench runs.

Potentially, the chipset could have been running in a lower TDP state here. However, this is only speculative on our behalf. Conversely, recent Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100) leaked performance numbers are much closer to those we achieved with Snapdragon X Elite Reference Devices. Currently, it seems that Microsoft could be the first laptop manufacturer to showcase actual Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus machines when it reveals the Surface Laptop 6 and Surface Pro 10 next month before its Build 2024 conference.
