Latest RTX 40 SUPER pricing leak reveals enticing RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER MSRPs

As we approach the launch of the RTX 40 SUPER cards, leaks concerning the GPUs have been numerous. For instance, we reported the full specifications of the RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER today. Adding to this growing pile of pre-launch information, Moore’s Law Is Dead has now revealed the possible prices of the RTX 40 SUPER boards.

First up, MLID reports that, per one of his NVIDIA sources, the RTX 4080 SUPER price is set at $999, the same MSRP as the RX 7900 XTX. The source also alleged the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the RTX 4070 SUPER prices to be $799 and $599 respectively, matching the launch MSRPs of the RTX 4070 Ti and the RTX 4070.

Interestingly, the source suggested that NVIDIA is also dropping the “official MSPR” of the RTX 4070 (Available on Amazon) to $549 while discontinuing the vanilla RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4080 following the launch of the SUPER variants.

Moving on, a distributor source mentioned to MLID the same RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the RTX 4070 SUPER prices as the NVIDIA insider but claimed that the RTX 4080 SUPER “seems like it will either be $999 or $1,199”. Regarding the uncertainty about the RTX 4080 SUPER price, the source maintained that NVIDIA could be “trying to hide the RTX 4080 SUPER pricing, or the $999 price is just being communicated now”.

Additionally, an AIB source reported to MLID that the RTX 4080 SUPER is “intended” to fall just below the performance of the RTX 4090 to be “worth considering”, while the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is meant to approach the RTX 4080 performance for only $799. The RTX 4070 SUPER, which the source marked as “the same price as the current RTX 4070”, reportedly sits just below the RTX 4070 Ti (Available on Amazon).

Finally, the AIB source also alleged a price cut for the RTX 4070.

Aside from the RTX 4080 SUPER, the latest pricing leak out of MLID is not only consistent with the leaker’s previous report but also falls on the lower end. If the official prices turn out to be the same as the ones listed here, the RTX 40 SUPER will offer a decent uptick in price/performance which in turn could force AMD to reduce the rates of competing Radeon GPUs.
