Eufy releases new wireless chime for smart Video Doorbell E340
The Eufy Security Video Doorbell Add-On Chime has been launched worldwide. According to the product page, the wireless chime is compatible with the Video Doorbell E340 and all upcoming video doorbells from the brand. It is worth noting that the older Eufy Chime and Eufy Wi-Fi Chime are incompatible with this latest doorbell.
The new Add-On Chime, also known as the MiniBase Chime, ensures you are notified of visitors wherever you are in your home without relying on app notifications on your phone. The sound can be triggered by someone ringing your doorbell or when motion is detected. You can choose from eight chime sounds with adjustable volume, and up to 128 GB of footage captured by the video doorbell can be stored on a microSD card inside the device.
The Eufy Chime for the Video Doorbell E340 measures 3.74 x 1.97 x 1.77-in (~95 x 50 x 45 mm) and has a white plastic casing. You can buy the Eufy Security Video Doorbell Add-On Chime for $39.99/£35.99/€39.99. Alternatives to this new chime accessory for the same alerts include other products from the Anker sub-brand, like the Eufy HomeBase S280 and the Eufy HomeBase S380, or devices with Alexa or Google voice assistants.
