The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo is now available in China; the two-in-one device combines a robot vacuum/mop and a cordless vacuum cleaner. Both gadgets can be stored in the self-cleaning docking station, which can also empty the dust bag of both vacuums. Other features of the dock include 60°C (~140°F) hot mop washing, heated drying and automatic refilling of the robot’s onboard water tank.
The Deebot X2 Combo robot vacuum and mop is 9.5 cm (~3.7-in) thick, allowing it to fit under furniture items like a sofa, and its design allows it to reach 99.77% of the cleaning area. The gadget uses LiDAR technology to navigate your home with a 10 m (~33 ft) field of vision. The robot has up to 8,700 Pa suction power, making it more powerful than the Deebot X2 Omni, which peaks at 8,000 Pa. The Combo robot’s 6,400 mAh battery makes it suitable for cleaning an area of around 200 m² (~2,150 ft²). The secondary cordless vacuum has a smaller 4,000 mAh power pack, allowing it to run for up to 60 minutes. Plus, the handheld device weighs 1.2 kg (~2.6 lbs) and has various attachments.
You can control the Deebot X2 Combo via the app, or voice controls with YIKO, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support. You can now buy the Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo in China for 6,999 yuan (~$990). Whether or when the gadget could launch in other markets like North America or Europe remains unclear.
