The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12 is now available in some European countries. The budget model has a basic feature set, which includes mopping with a smart water tank. Other typical tools include LDS navigation, obstacle avoidance, cliff detection and app-based controls with OTA updates.

Xiaomi has launched the Robot Vacuum T12 in the EU. The new model, with a basic feature set, is a cheaper option from the brand’s robot vacuum cleaner range. The devicel has up to 3,500 Pa suction power and uses LDS laser navigation with an 8 m (~26 ft) scan range and 2K/s sampling frequency to accurately map your home for optimized route planning.

The Robot Vacuum T12 has four cliff sensors to ensure it does not fall downstairs and two collision sensors to help it detect and avoid obstacles. The smart onboard water tank, which must be refilled manually, ensures an even distribution with three flow levels to protect your floors from damage. You can control the robot vacuum’s settings in the accompanying app, where you can also set–up a cleaning schedule and download updates for the device.

The vacuum has a black shell and measures 350 × 94.5 mm (~13.8 x 3.7), with a 3,200 mAh battery allowing the device to run for up to 130 minutes. You can buy the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum T12 in countries like France and Italy for €179.99, while the model retails for €169.99 in Spain. It remains unclear when the product could roll out to other areas.
