Xiaomi smart kitchen gadget with app-based controls launching soon

The Smart Multifunctional Rice Cooker has a 3L capacity, allowing you to make up to 10 bowls of rice at once, which the company estimates will serve up to six people. You can choose your cooking settings in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, allowing you to set your desired cooking time and rice texture remotely. Alternatively, you can use the button on the top of the device to adjust the settings, an integrated display shows the remaining cooking time. The cooker can be scheduled up to 24 hours in advance, and you have the option to keep the rice warm for up to 12 hours.

According to Xiaomi, a high-power element ensures the rice cooks evenly, and built-in temperature sensors ensures it does not burn. The cooker comes with a steamer basket, rice paddle, ladle and measuring cup, and the inner lid and steam valve are detachable to make them easier to clean. It remains to be seen precisely when the Xiaomi Smart Multifunctional Rice Cooker will launch and how much it will cost.
