The Redmi Note series has been a bestseller in Xiaomi's Redmi portfolio. In the fall of 2021, it was announced that 240 million Redmi Note smartphones had been sold globally. This figure is likely to have risen significantly in the past two years. The current Redmi Note 13 model series is no exception, having sold a good 400,000 units within an hour in September 2023.
Now, Xiaomi has added new numbers. On Weibo, Redmi announced that more than 3.2 million units of the Redmi Note 13 model series have been sold since its launch in China. This figure refers purely to sales in Xiaomi's home market. The models seem to be well received there not only in terms of sales, but also among buyers, according to the customer satisfaction figure of 98% at JD.com. The newly introduced special edition should also ensure further sales.
Unfortunately, figures for Europe are currently not available. The Redmi Note 13 series only went on sale there a few days ago. Last week, Xiaomi celebrated the global launch of the Redmi Note 13 4G, Note 13 5G as well as the Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G.
We recently reviewed the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and can attest to the smartphone's good performance values. The verdict concludes: "With the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Xiaomi has raised the bar for midrange smartphones right at the beginning of 2024," thanks to the high-resolution 200 MP camera and the very bright AMOLED screen, among other things. Both the Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro can be purchased via Amazon.
