The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has been tipped to launch in March alongside the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. Ahead of that, however, a leaker has now revealed some standout features of the flagship phone, with a few potentially able to excite fans.

While the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will be Xiaomi's next big global releases, the company is expected to launch the Xiaomi 14 Ultra shortly after. The 14 Ultra will sit atop the pile of Xiaomi's flagships for the year, and a leaker has now itemized the supposed highlights of the premium device ahead of its launch.

Courtesy of Kartikey Singh, typically reliable on such matters, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature the 1-inch LYT900 sensor as its main camera, reportedly being the first device to launch with that sensor globally. The OPPO Find X7 Ultra already sports the LYT900 but will not be sold globally. In addition, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is tipped to come equipped with a f1.6-f4.0 step-less variable aperture setup, a 3x to 5x zoom periscope with a telephoto macro, and a Leica Summilux Lens.

On the display side, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is tipped to sport a WQHD+ quad-curved display, with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader built into it. That would make it Xiaomi's first device to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, with all previous phones from the company using optical-type sensors instead. Lastly, a 5200 mAh battery is expected.
