Xiaomi 14 Ultra: How the Leica camera flagship design will change, according to an eyewitness
Several Xiaomi 14 Ultra images have been in circulation recently, months before the first expected launch in China in April. Not much could be seen in these images apart from the four camera sensors and the display, as the Leica camera flagship sits in a protective cover that covers the design.
However, an individual who claims to have seen the current test candidate uncovered is Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station. According to his eyewitness report on Weibo (see screenshot below), Xiaomi will only make small changes to the design for 2024; the round ring camera will once again remain the dominant element in the middle of the back. According to the leaker, the lens arrangement and flash light layout will also remain the same.

However, the shape will change, as the unusual ramp of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra towards the camera module will apparently be removed. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship is also expected to have a more modern look on the front and adopt a design element from the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Similar to the Pro model, which may also be launched globally at the Mobile World Congress, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will supposedly feature curved display glass on all four sides (quad-curved screen). A few other details mentioned by the leaker in his post are "Cloud des Paris" embossing on the ring around the camera, i.e. small pyramid-shaped elevations. Stereo speakers on the top and bottom can be seen through the corresponding openings. Based on the leaker's information, @devinarde has created a sketch of what this could ultimately look like:
