MySmartPrice has published leaked marketing materials for an unreleased pair of Bose earbuds. Evidently not ready for CES 2024, Open Ear Clips TWS sit within the sub-market of earbuds that do not obstruct your ear canal. For context, the Open Ear Clips TWS would compete with the Huawei FreeClip and Sony LinkBuds, the former of which we reviewed at the end of last year.
According to Roland Quandt, 'Open Ear Clips TWS' may not be the device's final name. However, MySmartPrice refers to them as such, presumably on account of their design. Arguably, the Open Ear Clips TWS are closer in design to Huawei's effort than Sony's, with a 'G' shape design that sits around an earlobe.
Unfortunately, MySmartPrice has not revealed any technical specifications yet. Instead, it has shown the Open Ear Clips TWS in a single white and silver finish. Typically, Bose sells its audio products in multiple colour options though, with Black and White Smoke finishes offered for the QuietComfort Ultra. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now, too, although Bose does not tend to price its earbuds much below $300 at launch.
