The busy and oft well-informed leaker Digital Chat Station has not only shared a new leak on Weibo about the design of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship smartphone, but has also commented on the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablet, which will probably be released at the same time. Here, the leaker mentions some partly known, partly contradictory details and also gives a preview of an even better equipped flagship tablet.
But the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro first: according to the latest rumors and contrary to the approach of previous generations, the tablet is expected to appear globally. The leaker once again states that the device will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This not really a surprise and has already been the subject of previous leaks. This would be an upgrade to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of the current predecessor model.
Digital Chat Station again mentions an LCD with 144 Hz, which is also nothing new. However, according to his information, this will be larger than previously assumed. Previously, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro was expected to come with a 10-inch display diagonal and be slightly more compact than the current Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. The leaker does not say how many inches the new tablet will have; only that it will have thinner display edges, so that the dimensions would ultimately be more compact with the same diagonal. The Pad 7 Pro is also said to look more premium, with the same camera design as the current Xiaomi 14 Series and Dolby Atmos quad speakers. The operating system is reported to be HyperOS based on Android 14.
Even more exciting is the fact that the leaker also mentions another and even better equipped tablet that will be equipped with the current Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and an OLED panel. This could be the Xiaomi Pad 7 Max as the successor to the 14-inch Xiaomi Pad 6 Max.
