The Nanoleaf Skylight is now on sale worldwide. The modular ceiling light was initially shown at CES 2023, with the company suggesting the "Skylight" name comes from the product's ability to mimic the colors of the sky. You can connect up to 100 units of the RGBW panel to create the design of your choice on the ceiling.
The Skylight has a maximum brightness of 1,400 lumens and is expected to last up to 25,000 hours. If using white light, you can choose between 2,600K and 6,500K temperatures. Alternatively, you can select from over 16 million colors and animations, with lighting schedules to gently wake you up. An AI tool can generate color palettes, and you can sync the lights to your music. Controls are offered via the Nanoleaf app for Android or iOS or voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The product is also compatible with various smart home ecosystems, including Apple Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Razer Chroma RGB Lighting.
It is worth noting that the light only supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, and a single panel must be wired in. Each Skylight measures 300 x 300 x 55 mm (~11.8 x 11.8 x 2.2-in).
