The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM is one of ASUS' new latest monitors, with the company bringing the device to Gamescom 2023 with the ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM and ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD. In a press release, ASUS explains that the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM is the first gaming monitor to combine a 4K OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate that it can achieve without overclocking. Please note that ASUS has rounded up the gaming monitor's panel size, which actually spans 31.5-inches.
Nonetheless, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM also has 0.03 GtG response times with support for AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC image tearing reduction technologies. Additionally, ASUS claims that the panel peaks at 1,000 nits, mainly thanks to its QD-OLED panel. However, this is only likely true when watching HDR content; ASUS has not revealed full brightness details yet, though.
Moreover, the company has equipped the gaming monitor with a custom heat sink and graphene material to reduce the risk of OLED burn-in. Like the company's other new ROG Swift OLED gaming monitors, the PG32UCDM features a KVM switch, plus DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C ports, with the latter also supporting USB Power Delivery. Currently, ASUS estimates that it will start selling the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM in Q1 2024.
