Lenovo Legion Go: New gaming handheld may launch with 1600p and 16:10 display
New information about the Legion Go has surfaced online, this time courtesy of three BAPCo listings. While Lenovo has not officially presented the Legion Go yet, a series of leaks have revealed most aspects of the gaming handheld. Most recently, Windows Report published numerous official Legion Go images, as well as equivalents for the Legion Smart Glasses.
Previously, Windows Central asserted that Lenovo had equipped the Legion Go with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel and 16:9 display. In other words, the Legion Go would directly rival the ASUS ROG Ally, albeit with a 1-inch larger panel size. However, BAPCo reports that the Legion Go has a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel display, which also represents a 16:10 aspect ratio.
If this is the case, then the Legion Go is arguably more of an ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro rival, an 8.4-inch gaming handheld with the same 2,560 x 1,600-pixel native resolution. The Legion Go will feature a Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU too, effectively a tweaked version of the Ryzen 7 7840U that powers the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro. Likewise, the Legion Go has detachable controllers, another feature it shares with One-netbook's latest gaming handheld. While pricing and a release date have not leaked yet, Windows Report's recent leak confirmed a few other technical details not discussed here.
