Tianbao, also known as AOOSTAR in the international markets, has launched a new gaming mini PC in China. Called GEM12 Pro, the computer packs the latest AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, has a built-in screen that can output a broad range of info, and features a fingerprint scanner for quick and secure unlocking.

The Tianbao (or AOOSTAR) GEM12 Pro mini PC made its debut in China with a rather interesting design. It comes with a built-in screen, which can display a wide range of information, including CPU, GPU, and RAM temperature and speed. The display even allows users to put up a custom album photo with a clock on top.

Right beside the built-in screen, the GEM12 Pro mini PC has a fingerprint scanner. It can offer quick and secure Windows Hello fingerprint unlocks. But the design and external elements aren't the only highlights of this tiny gaming computer. AOOSTAR has also packed powerful internals inside.

More specifically, the GEM12 Pro is available with the latest Ryzen 7 8845HS APU. It's a processor from the AMD Hawk Point lineup, and it brings 8 cores and 16 threads. This CPU is paired with up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of NVMe storage. All that, with the Radeon 780M iGPU, makes the mini PC capable of offering respectable FPS in most modern games.

On that note, AOOSTAR is also offering the GEM12 Pro with Ryzen 7 7840HS and Ryzen 9 6900HX. There are options with the same processors without the built-in screen and fingerprint scanner.

Moving on, the AOOSTAR GEM12 Pro has an OCuLink port, which makes it easier to hook the gaming mini PC with an external graphics dock and run it with a desktop-grade GPU. There are a good number of connectivity ports as well, including USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, DPI 1.4, and HDMI 2.1.

As for the cooling setup, AOOSTAR has integrated what the company calls a "Glacier 3.0" cooling system. With a large vapor chamber, it allows the mini PC to deliver 75W of performance. Check the pictures attached below to learn more.

Pricing-wise, the barebone version of the gaming mini PC with the Ryzen 7 8845HS currently has a pre-sale price of CNY2699 (around $375), and the Ryzen 7 7840HS barebone is CNY2499 (around $347). Global availability hasn't been announced yet, but the company does bring most of its products outside China.
