Mechrevo Aurora S gaming mini PC gets a new Intel Core i7 and Nvidia RTX 4060 configuration

Launched in May of last year, the Mechrevo Aurora S is now available with a new configuration in China. To look back, the previous year's model came with the Intel Core i9-12900HX, an Alder Lake-S processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. The new config of the gaming mini PC packs an Intel Core i7-12650H CPU.

This makes the brand-new configuration less capable than the mini PC that launched last year in terms of raw processing power. But the good news is that the gaming PC has the same GPU as previous year's model. That is, it still comes with the Nvidia RTX 4060, a good pick for FHD and QHD gaming. Mechrevo says that the GPU can offer up to 140 watts of performance while the CPU can deliver up to 115 watts.

The other aspects of the new Aurora S gaming mini PC are the same as the 2023 config. That means it comes with the same 4.5-liter chassis that can be placed vertically on a desk. The I/O ports also didn't change. It still comes with three USB 2.0 Type-A on the front.

On the back, the mini PC features two USB 2.0 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Type-A, one Thunderbolt 4, one HDMI, and one RJ45. Pricing-wise, the base variant with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512 GB of PCIe 4.0 storage (Samsung 990 EVO SSD 1 TB curr. $89.98 on Amazon) is CNY 4,899 (around $682). There's a mid-tier variant with 1 TB SSD, which is CNY 5,699 (around $793), and the top-end one with 32 GB RAM is CNY 5,899 (around $821). Mechrevo hasn't shared any info on the global debut yet.
