ASUS ROG NUC released as compact new mini-PC combining Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 for €2,499

A few months have passed since ASUS announced the ROG NUC. Officially, the company has not revealed any launch details since, although it has since listed the mini-PC on its various regional websites. However, it turns out that Proshop is already selling one SKU in Denmark, Germany and Finland.

To recap, ASUS claimed during CES 2024 that the ROG NUC would be configurable with various processor and GPU options up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. Please note that the latter is a laptop variant with a 140 W TGP owing to the mini-PC's 27 x 18 x 5 cm dimensions an 2.5-litre case volume. Additionally, the company reported that the ROG NUC would support up to 128 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and could output to four monitors in 4K simultaneously.

Based on ASUS' Spanish website, there are actually six ROG NUC SKUs. With that being said, the company only really offers Core Ultra 7 155H and GeForce RTX 4060 or Core Ultra 9 185H and GeForce RTX 4070 configurations. While pricing for the former remains unknown, Propshop is selling the latter with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for €2,499 in the Eurozone and DKK 18.658,63 in Denmark. Currently, Proshop expects to begin shipping ROG NUC orders from April 10, signalling an April 2024 global launch. Please see ASUS' website for more hardware details.
