We've previously reported on the manufacturer Beelink several times, and attentive readers may remember the Beelink SER6. The model is now being launched on the market in a new variant, although there are no major changes compared to the variants already available.
The new SER6 is a very powerful mini PC based on an AMD APU. Specifically, the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX is installed, with the processor achieving a maximum clock frequency of 4.9 GHz and consuming a maximum of 54 watts. A dedicated graphics card is not used, so customers will have to make do with the integrated AMD Radeon 680M.
The Beelink SER6 measures 126 x 126 millimeters and is 44.6 millimeters high, making it easy to hide behind a monitor, for example. Two slots for up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM with speeds of 4800 MHz are available. One SSD is preinstalled, which corresponds to the M.2 2280 format and is connected via PCIe. A second high performing M.2 2280 SSD can also be installed.
An Ethernet port is on board, which supports a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 GBit/s. The mini PC also comes with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, which enables wireless connectivity and the use of Bluetooth input devices or headsets, for example.
HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and a USB-C port can be used for connecting screens, with the Type C port also supporting USB PD. There are also jack connections in 3.5 mm format, as well as USB 3.2 and USB 2.0.
The new variant is available directly from the manufacturer at a price of $589. Other products from Beelink are also freely available at Amazon.
